Passport DC

The Embassy of Mozambique participated at Passport DC on Saturday, May 3, at University District of Columbia. Passport DC is an annually month-long event held in Washington DC, typically in May, which celebrates the city’s diverse international culture and diplomatic community.

During this event, Mozambique had the opportunity to display and share promotional materials about the diversity of culture, business and investment, business and tourism opportunities.Mozambique had the honor to display her cuisine diversity through food tasting, such as cashews, cassava, sweet potatoes, chicken, kale, xima, samusas, rissols, badjias.

The Embassy table/stand was visited by more than 400 people who expressed admiration for the Mozambican culture.Passport DC was an excellent opportunity to interact with a wide range of people including the Secretary of State of District of Columbia, and set the stage for potential partnerships.
